''Hello children.'' Emma's soft voice resonated through the room as the redhead entered it. She glanced around briefly, making a small face at a bit of dust she spotted on the piano, but decided to ignore it, she simply wouldn't go near the instrument for the time being. After ensuring her seat was clean enough for her to sit in it, she addressed the group.
''Now, today's another opportunity for you to present your song for the assignment, anything happiness-related. I have to say you all amazed me the other day. I know I said I was leaning towards Rachel's proposition previously, but it looks like the competition is just as talented. It will be a very hard, and probably heart wrenching decision for me to make, but we're not there yet. It's not too late to get your submission in.'' She smiled warmly at the children facing her, before awkwardly pausing for a moment.
''Now, as much as I hate to be the bearer of bad news, I know several of you are wondering about Mr. Schuester... He is still not ready to come back, unfortunately. At this time, it is hard for him, or me for that matter, to predict just how long he will still be absent. If this causes you any stress or emotional turmoil, I'd be more than happy to discuss the situation with you in my office tomorrow, or any other day, during my regular office hours. I'm also open to consultation for matters unrelated to Will... I mean Mr. Schuester's absence or Glee. Feel free to come see me, children, it's why I'm here. Well then, shall we sing?''
(OOC: If anyone would seriously want their character(s) to go see Emma in her office, to either discuss Will's mysterious disappearance (or anything else), let me know and I'll set up a thread, otherwise I won't bother.
