Rachel had gotten home from school and had told her parents that she had gotten the lead in the school musical. She was really excited about that and the fact that Finn basically laid his heart on the line for her. So she was back with Finn and she was really happy about that, and they both got the leads which was even more amazing. At least she didn't have to do anything other than have lines with Jesse, but the part of the musical though that she was worried that might get out of hand was the fact that when Maria and Tony first meet at the dance and they have a little private dance to themselves that Bernardo comes in and picks a fight for touching his sister. She didn't want that to be a real fight, she would have to try and be civil with Jesse and let him know that she doesn't want that, he needs to be professional about this musical.
After hugging her parents and having a moment with them. She also told them that her and Finn were back together, she had a big smile on her face and her parents were happy to see her smiling again. Rachel then told them that she was going over to Finn's house to have dinner and then do some rehearsing so she would be back late. Her parents didn't mind because they were going out themselves to go and see her other dad. Hugging them both she then went upstairs to change. Putting on a pink poodleskirt and a white shirt and a pink sweater she went over to her vanity and began to do her hair. Putting it up in a nice ponytail she then wrapped a scarf around the ponytail. Putting some color onto her face she smiled.
Grabbing her keys and her handbag she kissed and hugged her parents goodbye and told them to tell her other dad hello and that she loves him very much and to also let him know about the good news. Leaving the house, she got into her car and drove over to Finn's house. She was nervous when she parked in front of the house. Getting out she straightened herself out and fixed herself, going up to the door she knocked.
