High schoolers would be so much more productive if we had 3 day weekends every week.
Here's my proposal: Cut a month off summer break (3 months of break gets boring anyways) and make friday or monday part of the weekend. That way, kids actually have time to do things on weekends and develop real lives, but the number of days spent in school is about the same. People would be happier overall, as they'd be better rested and relaxed, and more could be gotten done.
