today was kinda fun.
i spent the whole anatomy class talking to ryan & the 2 stoner boys w/kait-a-lait.
we were trying to convince them that
men should be more romantic & like ryan gosling is in the notebook.
how they should do little things like go out on a limb for us, dance in
the street to no music... just be the best guy you can.
the guys said they could be romantic
in their own way. hell, they could piss our names into snow & they
considered that to be romantic.
hah. no matter what we said, somehow it all came back to how pissing the girls name in the snow=romance. & how one of them thought it was easier for girls to piss names into snow & cross their t's while doing it.
shit no.
basically, the 3 of them said that
it's all about sex & that girls already have their days for romance
(valentines, their birthday, mothers day), while every other day should
be all about wild, raunchy sex. i dont think these guys would think
that if they knew how great a little romance can be. im not saying that
only guys have to be romantic. girls can be too. guys would probably
enjoy it as much.
well, i agree with kait. hot physical
shit is needed at times & it is really fun, but id much rather have
strong feelings for the guy & a romantic evening. if you are good
to her, she will be good back. chances are, she will put out. so it
benefits them too.
buying her tires is not considered romantic.
giving her her favorite
colored rose, telling her shes beautiful, constant reminders of how
much you love her, cooking for her. that's romantic.
physicality is great. but you dont
make a point of it to feign romance just so that she will put out. that
is bullshit. i thought it was crap that all 3 guys said that. yeah, it
made me laugh hard as hell... but i didnt like it at all.
it made me think how perfect it would
be to have a guy who isnt in it for the ass... how nice it would be to
have somebody who isnt afraid of being romantic in your life.
..but then i realized i already did
& what those guys were saying didnt matter. they were stereotypical
selfish assholes.
