my friends ROCK!

Two things to mention, both of which show that my friends ROCK!

First of all, I FINALLY got to see Michelle today! YAY!!!!! we went to the movies (saw The Station Agent, which was pretty good, more on that a little later) and then came back to my house and hung out for a while. the movie was only playing at this random theater in what turned out to be downtown Bethesda, so we had a little bit of an adventure getting there and finding it, and then another one getting back home! but it was fun, and we made it there and back, and the movie was good! and it was SOOOOOO good to see Michelle, we had so much fun :)

Second, I got a holiday card from Pearl in the mail today! Pearl is SOOOOOO sweet, she totally rocks my world! So, Pearl, I dunno if you're even gonna read this, but if you do, thank you SO much for the really sweet card (and the picture, lol)...it totally made my day :)

And now, as promised, more about the movie. If you haven't heard of it, that's because it's an independent film, but, it's a really intriguing story, a very character-oriented story (which I absolutely love). My only complaint was that there wasn't much of an ending, it just sorta...stopped (and I really can't stand it when movies do that, lol, it drives me CRAZY). And, there were 2 things that happened in the movie which I totally saw coming like 10 miles away...which actually sort of reassured me, because it's nice to know that I have SOME sort of perceptive ability for things :-P

My sister got the DVD from her camp show this past summer today, so we watched that over dinner (and dessert, my mom made her wonderfully delicious chocolate chip cookies!), which was fun. It was a little bit weird to watch the show again, I mean, the last time I saw it was the last show, which was like August 1st or 2nd or something like that, and it was just kinda weird, I dunno, lol. but it was fun, especially the special features that were added to the DVD!!!

I'm also excited because I got the Keeping the Faith DVD for Hanukkah last night! AWESOME movie! and my sister says she'll watch it with me sometime while I'm home! yay!

Also still working on getting Alvin to come watch Finding Nemo and Felicity while I'm home...and my sister is unwittingly helping, which I find somewhat amusing, which makes me feel a little evil, which I don't particularly like. oh well. lol...whatever works, I guess!

So, that's about it for now, it's been such a fun day so far, I'm in a pretty good mood (although I'm a little tired, my sleep last night was again interrupted by my stupid cold that apparently only manifests itself at night when I'm lying down :-P not to mention that it took me longer than it should've to fall asleep, but that much I should be used to by now), so, yay for good moods, I like them :)
