February!
Marcus and I filled out our February calendar last night. There are exactly THREE days in the entire month that we have no plans (aside from work, of course). But I'm super excited, because most of it is fun stuff, and it's shaping up to be a great month!
Next weekend, we are hosting a Super Bowl party (really just a small get-together which probably will involve more talking/eating/playing games than actually watching the Super Bowl, lol) Sunday evening. The following Thursday is the season premiere of Survivor, then Friday the Olympics start! That weekend, my parents are coming to visit, and Monday is Presidents Day, so it's a 3-day weekend, too. Also, that Saturday is the first Maryland-Duke game of the season (aka Maryland-Duke, Round One), woohoo! The weekend after that, Marcus is planning our date night, but this month he's doing a whole date weekend! I don't know exactly what he's planning, but it should be fun :) The weekend after that, my friend Laura C. is coming to visit from Maryland. And then February will be over.
So, the next four weeks are looking insanely busy, but fun! I can't wait to see all of our visitors :) It almost doesn't even matter that I have no more books to read for the time being, because it seems like I won't have much time to read anyway, lol :-P And the third book in the Shadowmarch series (which I'm anxiously awaiting) comes out in April, so that'll probably be my next major reading endeavor.
I love February, it always seems to be a good month for me. Could be because it's short, so it ends before it has a chance to go bad, lol, but I don't know, I don't think 2-3 days really make THAT big a difference most of the time. Anyway, Happy February to all!
