Tuesday Art Post: The Early Edition
Gotta a lot of work to do tomorrow and thought I'd better get this out now. This is a redesign of Lady Blackhawk from DC Comics. You know, I wish I could say I made some HUGE revelation with her, but I really didn’t. I more embraced her ‘pilot’ aspect and gave her a sort of stylized jumpsuit with button to the side jacket. I went with the air force side cap versus the captains hat, but still emblazoned with the Blackhawks logo. Its also on the jacket arm. She has a parachute/weapons harness hybrid so if she ditches, the harness has provisions and ammo. Strapped to her leg is a knife for close quarter fighting and cutting herself outta trees, should the problem arise. Like most of my ‘first’ tries, this isn’t half bad as a start.
