Stupid computers at school wouldn't let me get into xanga. Ack. I just emailed a response that (james and) I wrote. Stress on the I wrote part. It is good though. I don't really have much to say. I have a new binder! Eeee! Here is a copy of the letter for all you eager biznitches.

This is in response to the letter about Students Working Against Depression (SWAD). SWAD is not a support group; our goal is to spread depression awareness. We are students and do not give advice, but if someone needs help we can point them in the direction to get what they need.
We feel that if we have made an impact on at least one student, then we have made a difference and reached our goal. We agree with what Kruel wrote; we have good intentions. We want to make a difference and help our student body, and we do not feel that we have failed. We have raised awareness of teenage depression. That is our mission, not to give advice or therapy.
If a student or adult wants more information, we are here. Every person should be concerned about the tragedy at KHS, but it is not fair to single out one group for blame. It will take more than a group of students to make a difference; we all need to do something. SWAD is trying.
