So my boss has been harassing me to finish this required training course. Apparently if you've been working here for more than a month you really should have completed it by now.
I've been putting it off. It has been easy to do so since I don't ever see my boss and because I made damn sure to forget my password to the 'my portal' website. I mean, they have some seriously stupid password rules. Must contain a capital letter, must contain one of these symbols, must contain a number. For the record, I 'think' my last password was "Ihatethis1!" Except that didn't work... but in any case it is now, "Fuckyou2!" Hopefully I'll remember that. if I don't, I can always look here. Why do passwords need to be so complicated? It used to be you could put in any 3-10 characters and no one cared. Now the internet is rife with thievery so every website requires you to have an 8 digit password with either a number or symbol or some other tom foolery. I'm sorry, I'm starting to forget all these rules and regulations on my passwords and so I can't remember any of them. So I have to write them down and sticky them to the front of my computer. Now anyone that breaks into my house will have access to my bank account because after forgetting my password I had to change it... six times... so now it is scribbled in black ink at the bottom of my monitor. Yeah, that's secure. I hate you BofA. Perhaps I should make that my password! Or change it to Fuckyou2! and then I'll have the same password for two things the same and maybe then I can remember them.
Also, these are sites that you can't just 'remember my password'. I like those, they make my life not so difficult. But on some websites, they find it an extra bit of security to direct you to a second or third page.
Anyhow, back to my 'training video'. I'm using a computer that lacks sound even though the training video requires sound. I'm also... not paying any attention to it. I hate these things with a passion. Enough of a passion to come on the internet and rant about them to no one... since no one actually reads this. It's just a bit o stupid if you ask me. I hate customer service, the last thing I want to do is get better at it. I was doing fine occasionally walking by and hitting the 'continue' button and then going back to my internet crack addiction when I came to a 'quiz' section... shit really? A few minutes lates, 100%. I didn't even watch their crap... obviously 20 years of customer service and I don't need their stupid training video... waste of time... shoot me now, I need a different job.
