It's that politicians are stupid. Really, really stupid. I mean, I didn't think they were that bright to begin with, and the Bush Administration and the Republican majority looked like a monkey fucking a football.

Then the Dems get a hold of Congress and the White House and immediately start looking like a monkey trying to fuck a football...and failing.
