alright kids...here's an update
Soooooooooooooo o.k. lots of stuff has been going on. I'll just hit some of the bigger ones though so as not to bore ya'll with all that junk you really don't care about :o)
As for my last post, I'm not really sure why they were so amazing. Good things just kept happening. And get this, nothing shitty happened to me for 2 days straight. It was starting to freak me out! I kept hearing my favorite songs in random places, I got everything I needed to get done at the time done, I hung out with awesome people, saw some amazing movies, and even work was fun! Extreme high-over? not sure. but it was awesome :oD!
If you haven't seen Garden State, get out of whatever chair you're sitting in, stop reading this, and GO SEE IT! OMG, it changed my life! haha No, but seriously, it entered my top 5 movies of all time..it was just incredible. Soundtrack = AMAZING, go get it!
So me & Sean are definately getting the cute little house this summer. We had a walk-through with the owner, who seemed really nice. The whole inside of the house is brand new. The whole place has tile floors (good for pets and parties!), new stove, refrigerator, new window treatments, new everything! and the owner is still putting stuff in it, so by the time we move in, it'll be really nice :o) and get this, he was selling it for $750 a month! TOTAL! for 3 people!!! aaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnndddddddd J-Mo (Jessica Montgomery...and no J-Mel, I didn't give her this nickname hehe) is almost positive she's gonna be our third roomie which would be sooooo cool! She's becoming one of my favorite people here in Tally. She also has a Siberian Husky puppy that might live with us!!! We all have lots of plans for the place, by the time it's all finished, it's gonna look so good! Sean is really good at landscaping/gardening/planting lots of stuff, and him & his Dad work with a landscaping buisness, so they can get really cool trees and plants for free! Our yard is going to be awesome. And me and J-Mo are gonna do the interior decorating hehe Trading Spaces here we come! :o) I'm really stoked about it!
I saw a show at The Moon on tuesday with Sean, Dana, and we met some of Sean's friends there. His friend Anthony was so funny *L* It was The Mississippi Allstars (I think) and Galactic. It was awesome! Galactic was the shit! I was dancing all crazy with random people. There were so many hippies there *L* Every once in a while you'd get a faint scent of pot, it was amusing haha We got right up against the stage in the center for the second half. I realized how much I missed going to shows...I need to go a lot more often!
Yesterday, I was at the Scottish Highland Games Festival in Orlando!!! It was sooooooo much fun!!! (as usual!) A bunch of KKPsi folk went, and my roomie, Sarah, from last year. Amanda Bork drove up from Naples to meet us there, which really made the day awesome :o) We were supposed to suprise Jennie by kidnapping her and bringing her there for her birthday, but John can't keep a secret if his life depended on it *L* and Amanda being there was also a suprise for her...well, it was before he told her about that too! *L* but it was still awesome, and she seemed to have a really good time :o) On the way there, we stopped at a rest stop and I bought this awesome woven blanket jacket thing for 10 bucks! It was almost the highlight of my day! hehe We saw 2 doses of Enter the Haggis! They rock my world so much hehe I bought their live DVD and had them all sign it. They really are cool guys. Me and Trevor talked for a while about places they could play in Tallahassee other than Shennanigans, cause it's kinda crappy. and Seamus is always really nice and extremely happy when talking to people. The shows were awesome, and some of us got up and danced for their last song, "Lannigan's Ball" It was so much fun! We ate lots of Scottish food, and watched the games for a while. Jason "The Incredible" won like, everything! Which was funny cause he was the skinniest guy out there! And there was a guy competing from FSU! He was in track & field, probably shot & Disc. We got a picture with him, which was pretty cool :o) We "gave him the chop" and he seemed pretty amused hehe He had a twin competing with him too, which was fun to watch. Sean asked me to bring him back some haggis.....ick...so I went over and bought some to go, then we left. We went to Denny's afterwards and then drove back to Tallahassee!
A fun day indeed :o)
I think I'm gonna quit the Diner and work at a real restaurant *L* I'm thinking Ruby Tuesdays :o)
Classes are still good :o)
good times all around! Well, I gotta go read for some classes, yeah I know there's no school tomorrow, but I feel like being productive :o)
oh yeah, and we're going to DC this week for the protest! I'll update this thingy before I go though!
