Zzzzzzzzzz.........
Wow, so much has happened in the last few days. It would take me FOREVER to write about it all. but I'll try to paraphrase:
Christmas was really fun....and really strange at the same time. I got some pretty cool stuff. The "Family Christmas" party was at my Aunt Becky's house. (Actually my second cousin, cause she's my mom's first cousin...but whatever, if they're a lot older than me, they're my "aunts" and "uncles") Our family hasn't really seen our extended family in a LONG time....due to stupid fights and family issues...blah blah blah. But anyways, it was really strange to see everyone under the same roof again. And I realized I really missed them. It turns out I have some pretty cool people in my family..who knew! My Uncle David is still in a band. Same members, but different name (check em out: www.swizzlelink.com) Becky's boyfriend's son, Brian, is a really cool guy. I've never met him before. He's a senior in high school, plays the trumpet, and he's a pretty amusing young fellow hehe Me and him talked a lot and eventually exchanged AIM sn's, which is pretty cool. We watched these movies from when my mom was a baby...it was so weird! The movies were from old film reels and Becky had them put on DVD's as a gift for my grandmother. There was lots of crying involved *L* Watching it felt like I almost went into a time machine. The movie didn't have any sound because they didn't record with sound back then, so my family made their own soundtrack by reliving all of the memories. It was a pretty pleasant evening.
I was in Indiana all day yesterday with Chris, Scotty, Eddie, and Ken. It was my first time meeting Eddie and Ken, and I love them! They were really cool guys and totally made me feel at home. It was GREAT to see Scotty again! That kid cracks me up like there's no tomorrow haha We all went out to dinner at BW3's, watched Napoleon Dynamite, played some SceneIt (which is SUCH an awesome game!!!) "Caddyshack!!!!!" haha and then we watched Bring It On :o) I really had a great time. I wish they didn't live so far away so that we could hang out more often. But Scotty IS movin to Chi-town, so the next time I come home, he won't be so far away! :oD!!! luv ya Scotty! (we totally need to hook up Chris and Ken!!! let's make it happen! ;oD)
This morning, we spent some time with my Grandpa cause it was his last day here. He's going back to Denver. He's planning on moving out here pretty soon, so that would be pretty cool :o) When my mom went to drop him off at the airport, me and my sis did some shopping. I had gift cards I had to use here because we don't have the stores in Tally. We got some Chipotle, came home, ate dinner, then I had to run some errands. Then, I drove over to J-Mel's place. Me and her Dad talked for a little while until she got back from the mall with Chris *L* that was amusing..I just kept thinking of "PRETTY BIRD!" and tried not to crack up *L* We all went out to Friday's and did a lot of catching up. We left cause Chris had to go to work. Then me and J-Mel just chilled at her place and just talked about LOTS of stuff. I was there until almost 3 in the morning. It was awesome to finally get some J-Mel & M-Gar time. We desperately needed it. We spent most of the time laughing *L* Which I definately needed hehe Hey Jen, "I race myself up the stairs!" hahahahahaha...*sigh*
When I got home, I found flowers and a gift on my bed. It was from Nic. I felt really horrible for not being able to hang out with him tonight, but I really needed some friend-time. I didn't want to answer his call when we were at Friday's cause I didn't want to be rude to Jen and Chris by making them feel uncomfortable. We were also having a really important conversation...and it was their time to really get to spend time with me before I leave. But the gift and flowers were really sweet, it brought a huge smile to my face :o)
Tomorrow is gonna probably be the most busy day so far. I'm spending time with Nic in the morning, going to see an early show of Phantom of the Opera with my mom, lunch with my Dad, dinner theater with my mom, sis, bro, bro's gf, and my grandma, then I'm spending my last hours of the night with the gang at IHOP. Whenever I get home, I have to pack my stuff and get ready to leave for Tally. My flight leaves at 10:30 am the next day.
Where did all of the time go? It seems as though I was only here for a few days...
I'm sorry to all of the people that I didn't get a chance to see :'o( and for those that I didn't get to spend much time with. Unfortunely, having only a couple weeks to spend quality time with everyone I love is not nearly enough.
I really hate feeling this torn all of the time. Missing Tallahassee so much, and then missing home and everyone here. They say home is where the heart is, well, my heart is split in two. I love you all so much. I wish that wherever my life takes me, I'd be able to take you all with me.
