OBSESSION. I just recently bought about half of their discography within a week...
Damn Atlantic Ocean, different continent, etc...I would TOTALLY be going to see these guys with Interpol on tour now.
Oh well, too bad every party can't be stellar, remarkable...and too bad my stomach gave the "nudge" at the smell of alcohol tonight. It was cool seeing Gina around, not so cool that the birthday girl was a bit of a C.H.B. when I expressed my wishes to her, and Gina's BF seemed like a gothy-emo anti-socialite.No worries, I met some new people involved with computer science and more music related stuff. Good ol' scribblin' the name down and a FACEBOOK throw-out should hopefully yield a couple more connections...
I'm trying to organize a community tea-hour tomorrow afternoon when Emelye will be in town, and hopefully I can get some friends to come hang with us. Maybe it's another fantasy, but the concept of sitting at really short tables, sipping down brewing floral potions in compostable cups, seems like something I would enjoy.
