Let's start with football, just because it's fresh in my mind. Two leagues are actually still going on, but I'm pretty sure my situation isn't changing any so I might as well write this now. It was a disaster, no two ways about it. I had teams in three leagues. My best showing was 5-7-1 (7th out of 12). My other two leagues are 5-8, and there's a good chance I won't even make the consolation playoffs in those leagues. Just sad, really. I have serious doubts that I want to play again next year. A year off might be really good for me.
Baseball was at least a bit better. My CPL team won its division handily, but I think it was mostly scheduling luck. We weren't really that good, and I got waxed in the playoffs. Still, it felt like a pretty decent season. My Sanchez dynasty team was probably the worst team I've had in years-- 9th out of 10, pretty much out of contention after May. It's weird because it's a dynasty league and I did well (2nd place) last year, so I thought I had something to build on. Oh no, so very wrong. I just hope that I was able to blow it up enough at the end to be competitive next year (or at some point in the near future, anyway). I feel most proud about my team in Chief's All-Star League. That's a stupid hard league, considering it has 16 teams and there are extra starting positions. Talent gets thin so quickly. I had the second-best record in the regular season and made it to the league finals before losing. I hope I can repeat that performance next year.
