Small update on the aftermath of
the car accident from last month. My car is fixed. The other guy's insurance company admitted liability, paid for the repairs, arranged for a rental car, the whole works. New bumper looks way better than the old one ever did.
I wish I could say that I've been "fixed" as well, but that's taking a little longer. I was feeling pretty good right after the accident, but within a week or so I got some pretty bad neck pains. Right now it's a combination of pain and extremely limited flexibility-- my neck just doesn't move the way it did before. My back still isn't right either, but it feels about like it did before the accident. The neck pain is fairly recent. I'm strongly looking at physical therapy, because I just can't keep living like this. For one thing, it's a traffic hazard if I can't properly look over my shoulder (or even look left and right for oncoming traffic), and it's horribly awkward to have conversations with people sitting next to me without being able to actually look at them. We'll see how that goes.
