Gretchen and I are finally to the point where we need to be seriously car shopping. No more glancing through the paper, no more walking past used car lots (hoping to avoid a salesperson). No, we're going to do this, and we're going to do it right. Or as right as the two of us are capable of doing, anyway. I'm going to get a month of Carfax reports, we're going to memorize the blue book, and (probably most important) I'm going to enlist the help of my dad and Gretchen's dad. Oh, and I'm going to go get financing my bank first so I don't have to deal with some dealer's 30% interest rate or whatever. Wish us luck. We've had decent luck with used cars in the past, but we've always overpaid. We aren't in any kind of position to do that now-- it has to be cheap. I know, you get what you pay for. We'll see how this turns out.
