First Day On Call

Nov 04, 2006 12:42

Today is my frist shift on-call as the new Warren Place RA. It has been pretty uneventful, with the exception of having to go to Warren 20 and remove a bird from the door step. Since being On-Call requires me to stay near my phone, I'm more-or-less confined to my room. This isn't terrible, but I will def be greatful for some variety after i wrap up 6 hours of  reading Wiki articles about old TV Shows, and listening to music that I haven't heard since high school.
I checked out two books to read this weekend, but that doesn't seem to be going anywhere.  Its funny how, when removed from pressures to "fit things in", I esencialy do  nothing. Maybe I'm ADD.  It doesn't seem like I can do any one thing, consistantly, for more than 20 minutes.
Also, I really miss Alexa. She is always around when I'm at my dorm, so, despite getting some non-masturbatory "me time', I'm sort of at a loss for what to do or how i should perceive my room with her absent from it.  I'm also bummed that I couldn't go with her and my other friends to the concert last night. pout pout
