Holidays aren't the same
It's hard to believe that another year has just unfolded in front of my eyes. Only five more days until 2005. Where did this year go? I honestly believe that we have all began living in hyper-speed. So, Christmas was pretty shitty this year. I had Christmas with the evil side of the family (dad's side) on the 19th (which is my deceased grandfather's birthday)...needless to say, mom was a mess. I celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve Morning with Jason, Anne, Kyle, Mom & Dad. We all met up at mom's house for breakfast and opened presents. Then I had a party at my new house for the good side of the family (my mom's side). We had a lot of people show up...and they didn't clear completely out of my house until 11:30 that night. I slept in until 11:00 am Christmas morning and sat in bed watching the first season of the "OC" until about 2:30 (what a life huh?). Then I got up, took a shower and headed to the rent's house. Mom, Dad and I went to see "Meet the Fockers" (hilarious) at 3:55. After the movie, I picked up my friend Todd and he and I went back to my house. We watched a movie and then I took his butt home. By 10:00 I was all alone in my house on Christmas! I thought you were supposed to spend Christmas with the ones you loved...well, that didn't really work out. I hope it's better next year. Bah...Humbug!
