Chocolate...mmmmmm!!!!
I talked to my parents on the phone today. It was pretty good. My dad just had his second interview at Glenwood City, WI. We should find out hopefully tomorrow or Friday if he got the job. I hope he gets it so he at least has the option of leaving DeSoto. He says that its getting easier and easier to think about leaving there. I think it would be good for him to leave because its such a negative place and he has to deal with so much bull shit. I hate watching him get so bogged down with having to deal with everything. I know that he's going to retire pretty soon anyway, but I think he should spend his last few years as a superintendent in some school that isn't quite as small town and backwards as DeSoto. Who knows, when I go home in August, it might be to a totally different place than when I left. I also talked to my mom about my dog today. They did some other tests and an X-ray and found out that they think the heartworm is still in the beginning stages so its pretty treatable. They will have to give her a series of two injections then she has to be kept kind of calm and relaxed for about a month. I thought that meant that they would have to keep her at the vet's for that long but it turns out she'll get to be at home where she's happy. That makes me feel a lot better about things.
