10 Days!
So yeah, I leave for Europe in 10 Days! That sucky part about that is that I'll only be home for 6 days or so before I leave. Oh well. I'm still stuck down here in Iowa. Everyone else is gone because they have auditions this weekend. The company that we work for (AEP) sucks and couldn't find anyone to come down to play today so I don't have to work but I still have to be here because tomorrow they have a drummer and a trombone player coming down to work with me. That's gonna be a real rockin' band...tuba, trombone and drums. I wish I could have just gone home. Basically now I won't get to sleep in my own bed until Wednesday unless I make it all the way home on Sunday night. I have to run the tuba and drums up to UNI to give back so I might just stay at Brett's if its too late or I'm too tired. Then Monday I have a dentist appointment and a hair cut and then I think I'm going camping with Ben Minch. That should be a lot of fun. I think I'm going to try to head up to Point on Tuesday during the day for a little while and hopefully see some people before I leave. Tuesday night I'm going to American Players Theater with Meghan (who has been awesome lately!) to see Macbeth and then I'm going to stay with her in Madison because its a shorter drive there than it is home and it will be late. Finally on Wed. I get to head home and start packing for my trip. Its going to be kind of hectic to get everything ready but I can't wait! Its going to be an awesome semester even though I'm going to miss all of my friends...you all better keep in touch!
