I just wanted to pop in quickly and say thank you to everyone who responded to last week's (two weeks ago, maybe?!) challenge poll. I know I've been MIA recently, but that's because real life is an evil wormhole and all my fannish energies have been otherwise occupied over the past week*. But I'm very glad to see (librarymouse, mckensie_hall, morningafte2 and fewthistle, I'm looking at you, oh-prolific-ones) that my presence hasn't really been missed. :)
In any case, I'm offering a heads-up to let you know that a new tbj_ladies challenge will be issued on Friday (if not sooner) based on your feedback. So get your writing hats on, folks.
[*Shameless pimping: The entries have come in (mostly) for femslash_today's Guns and Microscopes ficathon, and they're simply excellent. While there's no showing from TBJ (must be recitified in future ficathons!), many writers who also post at tbj_ladies were/are involved--joran, lfae, thenewhope, lysachan, thejenius, and seftiri, to name a few. If you've the least bit interest in any other fandoms (other LAOs, CSI, Cold Case, etc.), or even if you don't, go read and enjoy!]
