Question for the Icon Artists (OT)
Sorry about this post, everyone *especially to those who have to read it several times on their friends page* but I need a little help. I have a Mac (mmhmm) and I am sick of not being able to make icons. I'd like to know if anyone out there knows of a good bit of software that I can download for free that can crop images, add effects (nothing too elaborate, just maybe softening or colour washes) and mainly, add text.
On the same topic, if you don't know of anything, do you know of similar software that can convert files into .jpgs? Because I actually made an icon using Appleworks6 paint but it's just a clipping, not a real jpg or any other accepted format.
If you could take a second to answer, I'd be really grateful.
