Bitch Work Ahoy!
But first...
I asked a boy out on date. Why? Just did and I felt like it and I wanted to....hehe. He said yes but we didn't go on our date that weekend. Instead I got inivted to his pad for a pre-going away BBQ. That turned out to be him and about four other guys we work with. It was fun and I really enjoyed myself. No I'm not looking for a relationship...gah! He's going back home because he's so there's that.
The day before I ended up leaving two of my friends to go ice skating. I asked and they said no and I was out the door in a snap. I'm tempted to take lessons so I can pull quick stops and go backwards but seeing that I'm deploying in Sept. not so much. Plus all the fun is learning how to do it yourself and learning from others there.
Now for sports. Soccer...didn't make into the playoffs but I was head to head with the group commander during the first half. I'm still reeling about how much my run time has improved by playing. Now that I'm really active again I want to keep it going with softball and doing my own thing like skating, swimming and hitting the gym. I love it when I hit these periods because everything falls into place somehow...except for work.
How many people does it take to shuffle papers? 3 apparentely. Some of the people at work are pissing me off because half of the airmen are being douchebags and the remainder...actually it more like 4-3...are stuck with the manual labor/bitch work. I don't mind so much because it gets me away from them and the rest of flight but when I'm having a short conversation with someone about upcoming squadron events and get togethers dont - DON'T - call over the desks and ask what I'm working on and if I can help out in a bitchy voice that is just filled with 'I outrank you,' and have me come around the corner to see 3 of you sitting down on your asses. Inventory sucks as it always will but these 3-4 stooges...I haven't seen one of them lift a finger with the labor portion of this project. Plus I get the inventory knocked out fast because I hate working slow and with that being said don't try to take advantage of me. I find it ridiculous because it doesn't take that long to input numbers on templates. I suggest they find someone who types fast. This project was estimated to be done on Monday next week but look its Wed. and now we're just waiting on the team leader. Haha Now what?!
I was able to escape the above said all of this morning thanks to my additional duties...: ) Sometimes they're not bad at all.
Well I'm going to watch a movie and migrate back to room.
