The prompt's a song lyric, not my creation :P I have an affection for gorgeous lyrics and besides, they're one of my most important sources of inspiration.

This is sill a gorgeous interpretation of it though!!!! Love the way Peter and Neal do this little dance till Neal's backed up against the table. Love Neal describing Peter as home. The last thing Neal says before leaving the restaurant is like wow. Also that last exchange. So lovely! This was really awesome :D

I started something else entirely and then realized there was no way I was going to tell that story in less than 3000 words and I did NOT have time for that. lol. It is a lovely lyric! I was a little awestruck by it. ;) but a heavy one! I might, at some point, have to go back to the original idea and do it how I originally thought it. But knowing me, I'll procrastinate too long and forget.

Anyway, I'm glad you liked it! Thank you!

Maybe you could use the song as a reminder :) It's Recessional by Vienna Teng. Selfish reasons entirely, I assure you - I really want to see that other story. I'm driving myself crazy with the possibilities!

Liked? Loved. :D

I just youtubed the song - it is gorgeous. Haunting and all feely. It will definitely be listened to again. And again. And probably will inspire the remainder of that story. There really are so many possibilities with this prompt, I wish I had the time to just sit and immerse myself in it. If that makes any sense. But the beginning is on my drive, labeled correctly as stout prompt. So it might get done, eventually! (I won't mention the other 20 or so beginnings I have lying around that I can never find the time to fall into. lol)
