“You think you’re such a wiseguy, Bender. Well I’m calling your bluff this time. Johnson, get out here. Front and center”
Nervously, Brian stood and walked slowly to the front of the hall, where Mr. Vernon stood waiting, his steel-tipped boots clicking impatiently on the floor tile.
“Mr. Bender here thinks it’s funny to hide his stash in fellow student’s underpants? Well here’s where he learns not to run with the bull. Hand it over, mister.”
Brian looked around the room. Every eye was on him. Shaking with fear, he reached down into his fly and took out the foil-wrapped package John had given him a half-hour before. Vernon grabbed it and opened the foil, his eyes sparkling with glee.
“Let’s see, shall we, MISTER Bender? Huh? What the…”
“Brian!” said John, hiding his laughter with a sad tone. “You melted my Hershey bars!”
