Field Analysis Theory / Uncertainty Principle

Well here I am again, with a Journal.

However this time it will be different.

I was thinking of using this journal as a discussion forum for philosophical views or theories on life, the universe and everything.

One thing that me and my friend Jess have recently been discussing is the a theory called: Field Analysis Theory.
If anyone has seen the Matrix, Feld Analysis Theory is a sub-theory of Causality. Causality being that everything in life is determiend by cause and effect, every effect having a cause, every cause having a cause, and every effect having an effect. Essentially it is stating that due to an action causing a reaction and itself being caused by an action, that everything life is already on its set path. That there are no choices in life, only cause and effect and due to a ripple effect started at the beginning of time, we are a like a unified leg being tapped on the knee to cause a reflex.

People have stated that causality is the closest proof we have to fate, and that nothing in our lives is random, everything is pre-determined. They also state that if we could know the exact state of the universe at a precise point in time, we would be able to predict the future. On a VERY generalised level it can be compared to dropping a glass.
We know we have a glass in our hands, we know it is made of glass and glass breaks on sudden impact as it is brittle. We know that if we drop it, it will break and separate into shards of glass. Then when we actually drop it, it is no surprise that the glass breaks and we have shards of glass on the floor. But this is the natural way of our universe.

Many people don't like the idea of their life being a means to an end, that they have no choice in their lives. That essentially due to their upbringing, their peers, their society, their environemt, their genetics, their parents genetics and so on; their life essentially a train on a track without brakes. We can't control how fast we go, we can't control which way we go, we can't control whether we fall off we can't ontrol whether we die or not, we can merely go along for the ride.

In the theory of Causality then a conscious beings purpose in life is to experience. So essentially the reason for life, is to evolve to a species where they can experience this train ride instead of being a piece of graffiti on the wall of one of the carriages.

However, whilst this may sound depressing and almost unrefutable we can delve into modern physics to disprove this theory. The main theory that is used to disprove this is called 'The Uncertainty Principle' or 'The Indeterminacy Principle'. It was written by a physicist called Heisenberg who found when observing the orbit of an electron that its orbit was not always predictable and jumped from place to play. The way to predict a path is determine both its momentum and its state. Its momentum can be seen as how fast it is going, and its state can be seen as where it is precisely. Heisenberg found that the more precisely you measure the momentum the less accurately the state is shown and vice versa. He thus deduced that we can never truly know where a particle is going to go, we can only make calculated assumptions resulting in a number of options that the particle will go.

This went on to further state that regardless of how precisely we know the state of a body, we can not know its direction or momentum. The more accurately we measure its momentum the less accurately we know where it is. I probably repeated myself there, however, Heisenberg went onto mathematically subsatniate this theory which in a sense denounces Causality. For if particles which make up atoms which make up matter which make up cells which make up us can act randomly, then we could assume that other things in the universe could with a collaboratiev effect create a random instant. Examples of this are: Every snowflake is different, the matter which makes them up reacts and creates random patterms. Evolution, genes in living beings randomly mutate creating a different genetic code, which then gets passed onto the next generation and so on and so forth creating a new species. Evolution has no cause, it only has an effect.

An example of how the Uncertainty Principle influences causality can be seen in the creation of a snowflake:
Due to varying air densities and temperatures a storm would be created and further due to temperatures the condensed water in the air (clouds) would get so cold it would form into particles of ice. From here causality can to an extent prove that snowflakes will fall. However Causality no matter how far you know the state of the snowstorm, causality would be unable to predict the snowflake patterns.

So essentially Causality can predict the future or tell how situations will behave however it can only work in specific situations and to specific boundaries.

Anyways, thats all i can be bothered writing at the moment. Feel free to comment on what i have written and purpose your own theories. Now I shall put some guildines down. This has nothing to do with religion or beliefs. If you would like to bring religion or belief into it, you must give examples of how this influences our physical world and can be used to explain how future situations would eventuate.

Well thanks for your time, and please please please post a reply your thoughts anything. For sharing knowledge is a fabulous thing.
