I thought i'd fill you all in on the happenings of my life as of now, not that you care or will even read this. Anyways, I just got home from florida yesterday, it was a really good time. I went with pat and his parents - they have a house down there in benito springs. All I did was sit around the pool, read some books, watch some movies (i.e. meet the fockers, the life aquatic, about schmidt, monster's ball...) and I am also heavily addicted to the Saved by the Bell DVD's that my sister bought me for x-mas. I went out and bought seasons 3 and 4 so I have yet to watch those, and I ordered the college years, which I have never seen, online yesterday. Can't wait till they arrive! In Florida I read a book called The Lovely Bones. It's pretty good, but it's about death and mourning a loss and grief, etc. and I felt like the whole thing was one big realization. The girl would say "and then I realized...", or "and suddenly it came to me" in each new paragraph. Nevertheless, it was a good story. I'm reading one called "Now you see it" right now - bought it at the airport. It's ok so far - it's kind of similar to the lovely bones. Anyways, on vacation I ate a lot. We had pizza thrice, we ate in once, and we went to fancy shmancy restaurants a bunch of other times. At the beach I got served a pina colada, but the waitress looked at me weird and she asked me if i was 21. I told her that I was born in 82 and she was like "ok!" and gave it to me. It was awesome - she didn't card me, she DATED me! AH! Anyways, I am leaving for school tomorrow, and have a bunch of errands to run and packing to do, so I better get going. Tomorrow I start training for humane society. I'm hoping I'll come to a realization, like in the book, as to whether I really want to work with animals as a full time career when I get older. Maybe I won't - that'll save me from having to take a bunch of stupid chemistry courses that I suck at. But maybe I will... Who knows.
