Egg casserole and gravy goobers

December 12th, huh? A day before the big chemistry final, and two days before geography and calculus... :-/ That's all I can think about, but I can't do anything about it. Anyone have any tips as to how to start studying for a subject you really just can't stand? I need to think of a new major... So this morning, Megan, Candice, Brandon, Laura Z., Lara G., Pat and I all cooked breakfast for the families at the Ronald McDonald House. At first I was like garsh I don't want to do this because we woke up at 7:30am and everything seemed really unorganized. Then we got there and everything was going really well and we were having a great time. I cooked the pancakes and french toast, Pat cooked the eggs, Candice did the ham, egg and cheese casserole, which was SO good, Megan did the gravy and sausage and everything else, along w/ brandon, and Lara and Laura did the bacon along w/ tons of other things. We experimented w/ the gravy - when the idea for gravy first came up, Megan, Candice, Pat and me all said at the same time "i'll call my mom and see how to make it", but Pat was first to get a hold of his mom. It turned out kind of funky looking, but it was a hit apparently. Everyone was asking for more. And my pancakes were popular as well! So that made me feel really good. This little boy who had cancer was jumping up and down after the breakfast and he was wearing little space ship slippers - he looked so happy. Sometimes I just have to remind myself that getting a good grade on an exam isn't the most important thing in the world :-/ Oh well, I'm gonna go study.
