The Hike...
Mt. Monadnock on June 14th! Time for a quick update! For those meeting up with the group at the park, we'll be meeting at the base at 10AM. Kids are allowed (and encouraged), Dogs (unfortunately) are not... (State park rules, not mine) You can get directions to the park from the main e-vite page, by following the directions link I added. Park Admission is $4 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under are admitted free. Finally, PLEASE RSVP!!! Even if it's just a maybe... I'd hate to leave anyone behind because we didn't know they'd be joining us!
And The Camping...
For those planning on camping out in my yard Friday night, before the hike, OR Saturday night, after the hike... I need to know by Wednesday, June 11th, AT THE LATEST if you are interested in staying either of the nights... I'm extending this to everyone at this point, but please be respectful of the fact that this is my housemates and my home: no drugs or alcohol on the property please, and please be understanding if I do have to limit this based on the response I get. Please send me an e-mail, or give me a buzz on my cell... If you've already told me, remind me anyways! :) ALSO, please don't plan on getting there until AFTER 7:30 PM on Friday, as I need time to get home from work! Once you've let me know you're going to be camping out, I'll e-mail you directions on how to get there.
Carpooling...
One last little note... If anyone is interested in carpooling to get to the mountain, post a comment! Maybe we can save a little on crazy gas prices...
