visit the historic city of york!
i went to see the yorvik centre which smelt really bad but at least it had a ride!
stayed in a b+b close to the city centre and had the topmost room so spectacular views!
although the minster did keep ringing almost endlessly each and every evening.
went on a ghost walk which wasn't exciting at all; climbed clifford's tower; peered at only half of york castle museum - we got too tired to get very far - but it was excellent with set ups of 80s rooms to contrast with 'the past' lol.
the norwich union version of the london eye was pretty friendly too - views of the river ouse and foss, york train station, sweets factories, york minster - we had to get to it through the rail museum which was also excellent! turns out i'm a closet trainspotter! lol whoever knew?!
a thoroughly relaxing time apart from those small annoyances called little children who insist on poking you in your back when you are standing in line for anything - i just wonder why their parents can't see my discomfort and stop me from nearly throttling the little rotters!
anyway i'm effectively doing not much at the moment - an hour a day on the speech therapy application form is working well for me!
