I think you're right, it all makes perfect sense. There's no character's growth, there's no hope to find a better place, there's no happy ending for any of them. Now, I get the lonely hero routine but sometimes I wish they'd lay off it because it's definitely grown old.

Also I didn't much like the "revealing the Doctor's soul" bit now that I rewatched it again. I mean yes, the man can't carry a gun and despises violence we get that. But he's not the one making normal people into weapons for God's sake! They need to get the Doctor to get over himself because people do what they CHOOSE to do! If they think they need a key that blows up the Earth to remedy a problem they will use it because THEY think it's right! If anything the Doctor showed Martha there's always the need to give the enemy time to change their mind.

And what about Jack and Sarah Jane's tiny bomb? THEY thought that was the solution, and frankly they were just making threats. So please please please can we stop making everything the Doc's fault? He took ordinary people and showed them other worlds, yes he brought not only good things in their lives but THEY ALSO CHANGED FOR THE BETTER! And seriously sometimes you need violence when you're up against that kind of threat!!

In the end they're human... the humanity leads them do things the Doctor despises, not the Doctor himself! Look at what the Hand (that's how shinodabear and I call blue!Doctor) did... he destroyed the Daleks (maybe... because with those things you never know) and how could he do that if he was the Doctor? Because he was also human.

So Doc? Not everything it's about you ok?
