Things I learned while in Pittsburgh, PA
1) My aunt likes to gossip. She talks bad about everyone behind their back, whether or not they're family. I keep wondering what she's saying about me.
2) Teletubbie talk; It's a combination between baby talk and another foreign language. Jacquelyn's (my cousin) daughter has leanred some of it. She loves the phrase "Kunda Kunda!" It's something that the teletubbies say but I have no idea what it means!
3) Jacquelyn's daughter, Grace, has a temper and calls herself "Ga". Grace gets the temper from Thiago, her father. Also if you say, "I know a baby and her name is . . ." Grace finishes it with "Ga".
4) One of my aunt's dog, a true mutt, sees ghosts. She'll stare at a lace in the room for a long time and each time the dog stares in a different place. It has to be someone from the dead world that she's looking at. We can't come up with any other explanation. The dog's name is Kasey.
5) My aunt's Bernese Mountain Dog "talks". The dog tells my aunt when to feed it or rather when it's dinnertime is, to open the door so it go outside, answers "yes" to "Tyler, are you a good dog?" and "Tyler, are you nice?" He answers with one or two barks.
6) Another dog oof my aunt's goes around and eats paper off the floor. He chews paper up and swallows it. He's also scared of everything. The dog's name is Riley. He's part Mastiff, German Shepherd, and Yellow Lab.
7) The theme songs to Grace's favorite shows. They are Dora the Explorer, Backpack's song (the name of the bag Dora carries around), The Map Song (also a friend of Dora), Dora's "We Did It!" song, and the Teletubbies' song.
8) The baby dances to all of these songs, and then when tired of dancing and falling down while dancing, she spins around in circles.
9) She shrieks so loud all six dogs wince.
10) She calls anything with a dark skin tone or fur, "Dada". She picked up a gorilla figurine in the sandbox, and her whole face lit up and she goes, "DADA!"
11)She also laughs really funny. She has two laughs, but one is more of a nervous, noxious laugh, and the other one is a happy laugh.
12) She talks normally and then all of a sudden her voice goes really high. It's like she's a schitzo.
13) My aunt's mother becomes more stupid and bitchier as she gets older.
14) All of the Teletubbies' names. They are Tinky Winky (the purple one), Dipsy (the green one), LALA (the yellow one), and Poe (the short red one). Also, their theme song is horrible and really weird.
16)Jacquelyn's favorite restaurant is Red Lobster.
17) Melissa's favorite restaurant is/was Don Pablo's because of their legendary fried ice cream, that they're now always out of.
18) The German Shepherd, Sydney, is really shy and is really protective of Melissa. She growled everytime when someone else entered Melissa's bedroom. The dog barked at Emma and Shorty (the dachsunds [Jacquelyn's dogs]), and she only barekd when she was outside. She gets really feisty and loves Riley, Tyler, and Casey.
19) When the dogs wanted to go outside, especially, Riley, he would hit the door with his paw.
20) When the dogs wanted to come back inside, they'd stand at the door and wait or whine.
21) Everytime Emma went outside, she had to be put on the leash or els she would run away. She wasn't a loyal dog.
22) Jamie's not as nice as she used to be, but I can't blame her. She also uses the word "shit" around Jacquelyn's kid, Grace. She actually says it to the kid. The kid repeats it sometimes as well.
23) Thiago uses the phrase "fucking shit" when he's mad or when something spills.
24) Denise, Aunt Janine's sister, can talk for hours without stopping. Her son, Kevin, works in Canada. She likes to play Scrabble, and always wins. She makes her daughter, Andrea, do the same housework as when when she and I are at our houses. Her other daughter, Marja, has a child younger than Jacquelyn's child.
25) Grandma Carm gets anxious when she can't see her great granddaughter. She also cleans the hous for Aunt Janine while Armand fixes what is broken around the house.
26) Melissa calls Grandma Peggy and Granddad, Peg and Chuckles.
27) One of the Pittsburgh Pirates' pitcher's name is Kip Wells.
28) That the Pittsburgh Pirates have a fourth of July baseball cap. I want one. My cousin Luke wore it the whole time he was there.
29) Aunt Katie Flaherty broke Melissa's toilet.
30) Malique's (Josh Squyres' roommate) birthday is at the beginning of July. Josh Squyres called and invited me out to celebrate Malique's birthday. I couldn't go because he was in Savannah, Georgia, and I was in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I was happy that I didn't go. I don't like Malique. He loves me though.
