well, the last thirteen weeks have been pretty uch the same-work, work and more work, followed by baseball games, and now football has started (plus try-outs for the traveling baseball team again!)
school has started, and my kids brains have turned into jello over the summer. I don't get it. As much as Kay reads, you'd think her brain at least was not much. but hers too.
and can anyone explain what in the hell kids nowadays are thinking? my oldest has been out of work for a month-living out on his own, with no money, no phone, no car, and his suggestion-move to Utah with my brother! Fine, go, but I will not pay to send you out there. that means no school, and no seeing your girlfriend regularly who will be back in Virginia in two weeks for her second year of school. I told him I would pay for school, but I am not paying for him to go to school in Utah-I couldn't afford it if I tried.
At least I'm down to working 50 hours a week, instead of 70-80. That was getting a little bit old, really really quick.
I miss having a life. and friends. we spend on average at least a week each month offline (have to pay that bill when they want their money, not when you actually have the money) and miss much of what's going on with my friends. haven't seen them inages. a few of them were really really awesome enough (and brave) to comeout on Harry potter night to the bookstore, but
that was a month ago.
well, I'm off to find a pediatric GI doc-ranted enough for one morning anyway....
