Today, a friend of mine recommended LJ as an alternative to Facebook, or at least said a lot of us were retreating here. Rereading my posts of the last few years, most of which have been private and locked down as tight as I could make them, I realize I've been doing as much myself for quite a while. Same here! LJ does have a certain nostalgia, and now that I have a job I quite like and I'm not trying to direct plays, I can even post the occasional thing that isn't a psychic scream or primal whine. Maybe this Tazira will be like Billy Joel, in the Christie Brinkley years. (No, wait, that was kind of when his edged, sardonic lyrics went to pop hell, never mind.)
