I tend to browse around deviantart, narrowing the available by putting in the dimensions I need, or looking by color/theme. I've gotten.. a decent collection of wallpapers now O.o
And then, other times I use wallpapers from http://www.opacity.us/extras/ ..guy who runs this site visits old abandoned buildings and takes some (IMO) awesome pictures. Some of the pictures become available in wallpaper sizes :D I love it.
