Won Hellboy 2 movie tickets! Whoohhooo…
Last week, I entered a contest in newworlds.ph It’s an org for all fantasy and sci-fi lovers out there with different clubs under its belt. Like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Harry Potter and a lot more. I’m personally in a few of those clubs though some in lurker mode (me bad!). So I am what you call a self confessed geek! So when the contest for Hellboy 2: The Golden Army is in play. I thought to myself, why not try my luck. My husband even sent his own entry (another self-confessed geek). Yesterday was the drawing. And as the title of the blog says….I won!!! I was one of the 5 first prize winners of a pair of advance screening tickets, a Hellboy book and a Hellboy trucker cap. The screening was tonight, so my husband and I watched it. I loved the movie a lot. Though, I still don’t get it why it wasn’t that popular in the US. The effects were great since it came from the makers of “Pan’s Labyrinth” the costumes and set are top notch. Even the story is well thought of. Maybe the geek in me is trying to PR the movie. Nevertheless, it’s worth the watch!
