audio docs
so i need some help deciding what to do for my audio docs project. let me give you some background first. it's an audio documentary that will be about 10 minutes long - think like an NPR piece, only a little longer and not as much "hardcore news." so it needs to be a compelling topic that people will want to listen to for that long, and it needs

However, I would be a bit more interested in hearing about the 1st one, I don't know why. Remember that many people move around a whole lot, but not only in complety new areas. For instance, this house is the 8th house that we have lived in, surprisingly the 3rd continent, 2nd state. But within Greensboro, this is the 5th house. You can also tie in the different reasons for people having to move around a lot. B/c most people move a lot possibly b/c of their parents in the military. We started off moving a lot b/c my mom was a single mom for a while. So you can tell a lot from why a person has moved. Then, you could talk about the type of “personality” that the person may end up having. Let me explain, like if they have been many places so they want to travel, or they have not been anywhere so they want to travel. Or, like me step-dad, he has only lived in Greensboro his whole life and grew up in the same house, which his parents still live in that same house.

The 2nd topic is a good one as well, but being a person that does not have a cell phone, or an! pod, i can't really help you out much. But I can tell you that, it’s crazy how much technology, in other people’s minds, is an explanation of how old you are! What I mean is, being on the volleyball team, many of the freshmen were surprised when yesterday I was like yea I’m a senior. THEY HAD NO IDEA! I mean, I use a cd player (! Pods confuse me, you know that) and I’ve never had a cell phone! It might have been b/c I’m so short but whatever. What I’m trying to say is, what technology should you give your kids? I mean, with computers kids can get into a whole lot of trouble, download viruses and all sorts of things. What kind of society are we bringing about….I mean, people are constantly listening to music and such so giving them no time to be creative. There is so much more I have to say about technology, but I’m sure you know all of what I am talking about. Hope this makes sense. GOOD LUCK!!!
