Chapter 46 - Day gone Wrong (Thank you Reet for the icon)

It was like any other day really, the guys got called to a meeting with Ash and the road crew to get things settled for the upcomming tour. Our baby was due in a month and we were excited, but yet sad cause Zac would be leaving a week after Seth was born, but we will be able to fly out and see them.
I decided to take Brianna up and go sit with mom and dad for a visit, I was not feeling so great today, but didn't want to tell Zac cause I know he would worry and he has enough on his plate with this tour, I carried Brianna over the hill and then set her down, I started to feel a pull in my stomach, and it was making it hard to stand up straight, what was going on...I have never felt like this before..I just needed to get Brianna to the door, I just couldn't stand up, I fell to my knee's, this pain was really bad, I yelled out hoping someone would hear me. I was trying to catch my breath, trying to keep Brianna close by me at the same time, I finally decided to try and crawl..when I heard the door open, Walker looked at me and ran out and scooped me up in his arms. "Diana, get out here fast." He yelled.
"Oh my god Kiley, what is wrong sweetie?" She asked me scooping Brianna up into her arms.
"I don't know, I put Bri back down on the ground and I couldn't get back up, I am having really bad pains in my stomach, something is not right here." I said crying.
"Ok sweetie, let me call the boys and we are going to take you to the hospital, thank god you live close baby." She said to me.
She called and got Taylor on the phone and told him what was going on, he told her that they would meet us at the hospital, she thought it would be easier to call Taylor and have him tell Zac.

I didn't know how I was going to explain this to Zac without him getting upset, I pulled Ash aside and told him what was going on, he told me to grab Zac and he could finish up here with the details. "Thanks man, I just don't know what to tell him." I told him.
"Just tell him what you know man, I am sure she is ok, maybe it is false labor." He said to me.
"Mom was pretty worried Ash, and she has had 7 of us, and for her to freak..something is wrong." I said to him.
I walked over and whispered in Ike's ear telling him that we needed to leave. I looked at Zac..I took a deep breath. "Zac, Mom just called, we need to go to the hospital, they are taking Kiley in right now." I told him.
"W..What? Why? WHat is wrong with my wife? Is it the baby?" He asked all upset.
"She is having pains in her stomaach Zac, she was carrying Bri up the hill to mom's, she went to stand up and couldn't stand all the way up cause she was in so much pain." I told him, Ike went over and hugged him to calm him down. "We don't know anymore then that right now man." I told him grabbing my jacket.
We got in my car and headed to the hospital, I was worried for them, this family has had enough to deal with please not another one!
We got to the hospital and Zac jumped out of the door and ran into the hospital where dad met him at the door. "Where is my wife? What is wrong with her?" He asked in tears.
"Zac, you need to calm down, Kiley is in labor..she hurt herself carrying Bri and it started her labor, she is unconcious right now Zac, they are running tests on her right now." He told him, pulling Zac into his chest, We all just stood there numb.
"What was she doing carrying Bri to begin with? She can walk...I don't understand what she was thinking." Zac said crying harder.
"I dont know Zac, maybe Bri was dragging and Kiley was not feeling good she told us, she didn't want to worry you so she didn't tell you." Dad told him.
"Oh my god, she is my wife, she can tell me anything, she is so worried to upset me before this damn tour, I just wish she would realize her and the kids are the most important thing to me." Zac said.
Dad took Zac into the back room to let him go see Kiley, we followed behind him, seeing mom sit next to Kiley who was pale and Brianna was holding her mom's hand crying. Zac walked over and took Brianna in his arms and pulled her into his chest and held her there.
"Zac, let me take her for you and you can sit in here, she has been unconsious for an hour, They are trying to find out what is wrong so they can decide what to do, she is in full labor but not able to do anything while she is unconsious." Mom explained to him.
Zac walked over and took Kiley's hand. "I knew I should have never left you this morning." He said to her kissing her hand, and handing Bri to mom.
We all left the room and let Zac be with her.
~Zac~
I sat there praying like I have never prayed before, my god my wife was so pale, so lifeless...god what happened here? Why did I leave her this morning? That is all I could think about was that I was not there for her.
The Doctor finally came in and pulled up a stool and sat next to me, I could tell this was not good.
"Zac, we have to talk...Kiley is in full labor, and she has not regained consiousness..it is starting to worry me cause we are going to have to deliver your son somehow..the reason she got sick and what not was in our test we found out she was anemic..common during pregnancy but if not treated it can do just what it did to her. Now, if she has not waken up within the time she is 10 centermeters dialated Zac we are going to have to deliver this baby, and that is going to mean you are going to have to do her pushing for her." He told me, making me worried.
"Is she going to be ok? I mean I just don't understand what happend here." I told him.
"Well Zac, I believe she is going to be just fine, Anemia sometimes shocks the system, and Kiley didn't know she had it so there was no way of treating it, she will wake up, but maybe not til after the baby is born." He explained.
I watched him lean over her and look at her eyes, and looked her over. "She is 6 centermeters Zac, so another hour I am saying." He said.
He left the room and I just didn't know how to handle all this. Soon I heard the door open again, this time I looked up to see my mom comeing towards me, I ran into her arms! "He feels she is going to be ok, we just might have to deliver the baby without her being consious, she is Anemic and that is what happend he said." I told her, holding her tight.
"She will be fine Zac, I just know it." Mom said smiling at me.
"Where is Bri?" I asked her.
"She is sitting with Taylor." She said to me.
Soon I went back to holding her hand, when all the sudden I bolted up out of my seat, mom looked at me like I was crazy, I looked down at Kiley and smiled...She woke up and squeezed my hand. "Oh god baby you scared me! I love you so much." I told her leaning down to kiss her.
"I love you too Zac, I don't know what happend, I was carrying Bri up the hill and then I put her down and couldn't stand back up." She said.
"What in the world were you doing carrying her? She can walk Kiley." I said to her.
"I Know Zac, but I was not feeling well and I just wanted to get to your mom's and relax." She said to me.
"Baby, you should know you can tell me this stuff, I am here to help you, you are my wife, the most important thing to me ..you and Bri, I need to know when you are not well." I told her.
Just then she gripped my hand tighter, knowing that feeling, meaning she was having a contraction. I looked at mom and she could see what I was thinking. Soon she came back in the door with the dr, who looked down at Kiley and smiled. "Nice to see that you are going to join us for the birth of your son." He said.
"Yes I am, I am having alot of contractions." She told him.
He checked her out. "Well sweetie, it is time to deliever your little man, let me get my nurse and we will take you to the delievery room." He said, taking me with him to get myself ready.
I put on my gown, the slipper things they give you, the hat, I was thinking good thing the fans can't see this one! and then I slipped my face mask on and headed out into the room. "Ok Zac, lets go." The nurse said smiling. I waived to my mom and family and off we went to bring Seth into this world.
It was seeming to take along time and Kiley was getting tired."Ok Kiley lets push hun, Zac lift her up." He said to me. I pushed her back up and helped her push, she was sweating and so was I...I can't imagine being the one giving birth.
"Oh god I am getting to tired for this, I can't do this." She kept saying squeezing the life out of my hand."I don't want to do this anymore Zac." She growled gripping my hand tighter.
"I Know baby, let's just help him out into this world." I told her rubbing her head moving her hair out of her face.
"Next push Kiley and the head will be out, so we need some good pushes hun." He coached her on.
Another contraction hit and this time the head came out, and then she relaxed, I kept rubbing her head, I knew she was getting tired, and then another one hit, and this time, it finished it, our son was born.
The doctor held him up and asked me to cut the cord, this made me a little nervous, but I did it, and he started to cry, that made me smile, my sweet little boy was here and wanting to be heard. They took him over and weighed him he weighed 6lbs 5oz and was 17 inches long, he was so tiny...but so perfect. I looked at him and just realized the name we picked for him was not right.
"Kiley, he just don't look like a Seth." I told her smiling.
"Your right, I think he looks like a Matthew, Matthew Christopher Hanson." She said smiling holding him tight.
"Your right, that names is so him!" I told her leaning down to kiss the two of them. SHe handed me the baby and I walked out into the waiting room with him, they all came running over. I put my hands up and bent down to Brianna who was smiling. 'Hey sweetie, I want you to meet your baby brother Matthew." I said to her and she looked at me and smiled. "Baby" She said kissing his forehead and then leaning up to kiss me on the cheek, god I love my children so much.
I stood back up and faced everyone. "We decided to change his name, I would like you all to meet Matthew Christopher Hanson." I told them as I bent down to kiss his tiny forehead. My mom took him into her arms and cradled him. "He is so precious Zac, and another miricle Hanson is born into this world." She said smiling kissing his cheek, everyone came over and kissed him and congradualted me and then went back to see Kiley, I stayed here a little bit with Brianna and Matthew, just holding them both in my arms, I felt a tear roll down my cheek realizing in a few weeks I have to leave them. "When daddy is gone, you are going to have to be a big girl and help mommy take care of Matthew, do you think you can do that for daddy?" I said to her. "Wuv you daddy." She said to me kissing my cheek, making me so full of love. "I love you too my little angel, and you my precious son." I said, realizing my family is full...I have all I want in my life now, I am a complete man.
