Chapter 41 - The Holidays

Well the holidays are among us, and this is the first thanksgiving for us guys to be spending with the loves of our lives. We have been pretty busy planning Tay's wedding, and working on the new CD and getting ready for Zac and Kiley's baby to be born, they found out the other day what it was going to be..they are going to have a boy, so Zac is really excited about that.
The girls are all out in the kitchen helping mom fix dinner and gosh I have missed the smells of home being on the road so long. Us men are watching the little ones while they cook, I am sitting here watching Ezra and Brianna play with the babies, kissing their little faces, nothing fills my heart then all the love that is in this house right now, finally Taylor is happy, I have my family that brings me so much joy and Zac is extremely happy with his little family.
"Ok guys grab the kids and come and eat." Mom yelled from the kitchen and we all knew not to get in Zac's way when it came to dinner...we grabbed the kids and took them in with us, Taylor placed Ezra in the high chair next to him and Trish, Zac placed Bri in her high chair next to him and Kiley.
"It is so nice to have you all here safe and sound for the holidays." Mom said taking my hand.
"It is nice to be home mom." I said leaning over and kissing her cheek.
"I really want to say welcome to the family you girls, thank you for making my son's so happy, you have become a blessing to this family." Mom said looking over at each of the girls.
"I am honored to be part of such a loving family, I have never felt this much love in my life." Kiley said smiling, I saw Zac take her hand under the table making me smile.
"I never thought there would come a day that I would get such a warm loving family, I feel like part of it already and I am not even married into it yet." Trish said taking mom's hand from across the table.
"You are a part of this family sweetie, you are part of Jordan's and Ezra's life already, and you take good care of them." Mom said smiling.
"I don't really know what to say except I love you all so much, and you have help me and Isaac through so much latley..and I thank you from the bottom of my heart." Jade said smiling.
Soon dad started carving the turkey, and we all said grace..I said it last year, so this year was Zac's turn.
"Oh heavenly father, we would like to thank you for this meal we are about to eat, I want to say a special blessing today for my little neice that is up there with you, please let her know that we love her and she will foever live in our heart, and god bless everyone at this table today..and grandma..I know you hear me, we all love you. Thank you god for all the blessings you have placed in each of our lives. Amen" Zac said looking at us all..and all of us just sat there for a second, remembering Sarah, I was so touched by that, there are times that my brother can take my breath away.
"Thank you Zac for that, you don't know how that makes me feel." Jade said to him wiping away her tear off her cheek.
"I want her to know that she will always be in our hearts, There isn't a day go by that I don't think of her." He said comeing over and placing a kiss on Jade's cheek.
We all started eating, just enjoying all the love at this table, we laughed, talked about the up comming wedding..never thought that I would see Taylor this happy.
"Isssh..wuv you." Ezra said leaning down to her and kissing her..leaving a little mashed potato lip mark on her cheek.
We all laughed, it was great to see him so in love with someone like that.
"I love you too my little sweetpea." She said kissing his little cheek back.
"God, I love you both so much." Taylor said smiling at them both.
"Daddy, wuv you." Ezra said holding his arms out to Taylor, who picked him up and hugged him.
"Oh, it just touches my heart all the love, you boys have done so good for yourselves." Dad told us.
Soon we were all done eating and we all got up and started to clean the table off, so full that we all walked like we were pregnant.
"Wow, I think I ate to much and the baby is not liking that to much." Kiley said sitting back down, Zac looked over at her worried.
"Are you ok sweetie?" He said kneeling down at her feet.
"Yeah he is just kicking me really hard, I thought I was going to fall over." She told him giggling as he put his hand on her tummy.
"You need to settle down in there little guy, mommy had to eat." He said leaning in and kissing her tummy.
"Oh Zac, I love you so much sweetie." She told him.
"I Love you too baby, more then life its self." He told her.
We all got the kitchen cleaned up and sat down for a bit, I looked over to see Kiley with her feet up in the reclyner and sleeping, Zac looked over at her and grinned. "It is hard work carrying a baby around I guess." He said smirking.
"It is, it makes you really tired, I always thought I would never leave my bed." Jade said smiling.
Zac went over quietly and sat down next to her and just watched her sleep, smiling and watching her tummy move around.
"Active little guy." Taylor said smiling.
"Yup, never thought I would see one more active then Bri was but this guy...wow." Zac said grinning.
We kicked back and relaxed then mom asked who was ready for pie, Dad was the first one out into the kitchen after a peice, we all laughed knowing where Zac gets his appitite.
"You boys better come get some before your dad and Mackie get into it." She giggled from the kitchen, we all got up and went in and got a piece, Zac fed Bri hers."If I don't feed you this, you will have it all over you and in your hair." He said kissing her cheek, she leaned over and kissed him back.
It was getting late so we all got our stuff together and headed home, really tired after all the food we ate today.
"See you guys later, why don't we hit the studio in the morning, then maybe we all can go hit a movie or something after." I told them.
"Sounds good to me, just call me whenever you guys are ready." Zac said..taking Brianna in his arms and holding Kileys hand.
"Good night guys." Kiley said kissing our cheeks, I could tell she was worn out.
I have to say it was the best Thanksgiving I have had...I had my wife and my precious son's with me, and my amazing family too, I am truly blessed. Thank you Lady April for the icon!!!
