I'm not sure where to begin. It feels like I haven't talked to you all in forever because of this tour! This tour! my first headlining tour!!! Let me tell you, it was indescribable! The feeling you get when you have people opening for you (and by people I mean some of the nicest people I've ever met!), having people buy tickets to your show, selling out concerts in under 3 minutes! It's all so surreal, and incredible, and totally worth spending all that time on the road. That's the whole experience. Sure, these past couple of nights have been the most sleep I've gotten in months, and I'm super tired. I still miss it though! I know a bunch of people who think M&Gs get really old too, but I don't think so at all. Meeting the fans was the highlight of each night. It's just, incredible. But that doesn't mean I haven't missed you all though! Texting and phone calls for the ten minutes I had to spare just did not make the cut. I want to know what's been up with all of your lives?! Give me a three sentence update of your life!
The tour ended a couple nights ago, so my update would basically have to be all about that. I'm sure you don't all want to hear about that either, but if you want, believe me, I'll tell you! So life aside touring? We have finally settled in into our new LA home. It's so gorgeous here, and different than Tennessee! So now when I go home, in TN, I have something to look forward too, a change of scenery. There isn't nearly enough just, land around here. If you could live in any other place, and still in LA, where would it be? Would it be very different? Smaller, more conservative? Austin hates LA. I never thought my brother could hate LA. My mom and I have tried convincing him that he'd be able to go to the beach everyday, which means lots of girls, which he likes, but he wants to stay in Nashville. I don't blame him, I love Nashville. I guess moving out here is just another step in road to where I want to be.
If anyone wants to hear any tour stories, just ask, I'm still not over this yet! I'm even listening to Gloriana because I'm so used to hearing them right now, every night!
