Time to Update (Long)

Sep 08, 2005 16:01

Well, it's been a LONG time since I have felt like writing in here.

I finally went to a psychiatrist.  Best move I ever made I think! I'm now on Prozac and Wellbutrin.  WoW  I feel amazing now.  So much more energy, happier, more patience, no more angry outburst at Rick, no more getting mad over stupid stuff.  It's awesome.  I have been smoking a little bit, but I don't even care, if I feel like having a cig every once in a while, then I'm having one.

Taya...

Lets see, We went into Boston a couple weeks ago, we were going to have the growth hormone stim test to see if Tay is growth hormone deficient.  Had a baby sitter for Jameson, got all the way there, and waited and waited, she was whiney, I didn't feed her much before because they told me she would have to eat a little pudding with the medicine crushed up in it.  So, I was waiting to make sure she would eat that.  So, finally they take us in this little tiny room, with nothing but this like table thing that had the head of it up a little bit.  It looked like they were VERY un-equipped for special needs children and for the test they were about to perform.  I told Rick that I didn't think that Taya would be comfortable on the table thing, and I could see how we would be able to get an IV in her on that table, I mean she is NOT easy to hold down.  So, whatever, I figured they must know what they are doing, so we went ahead with it.  So, this guy dressed like a regular old guy off the street comes in and starts getting all the stuff to put the IV in ready.  Totally HALF-ASSED.  He was like lost didn't know where all the stuff to do it was, and didn't have anywhere to lay all the instruments down so he could grab them and stuff.  I was a little skeptical.  So, of course, first try was in her arm, pokes, misses, goes in and out about 20 times before giving up on that spot.  Then I said they have put it in her foot before, so we move to her foot, all the while she's screaming bloody murder.  So, I am holding her leg, Rick's holding her hands and upper body and talking to her.  He pokes her again in the foot, misses again, in and our another 20 times, finally gives up again.  I was watching him putting the needle in and out, BAD IDEA.  I started to sweat and feel sick to my stomach.  So, I said, I'm sorry but I can't hold her anymore, I'm not feeling well.  So, he went and got another woman to help him.  Just as she came in the room, I could feel that I was going to pass out any minute.  I said I was going to run to the bathroom.  I stood up, and fought myself out of the room, out through the very big waiting room, started to get the tunnel vision and then I went completely deaf and totally stumbled down the long corridor that lead to the bathroom.  I was looking for someone to ask for help, and doesn't it figure the only person around is a woman that is speaking a different language!  So, I held on to the railing and made it to the bathroom.  I had to pee so bad, so before I even got in the stall I was unbuttoning my pants!  I walked into the stall and I knew if I sat down on the toilet and took some deep breaths and cooled off I would be ok.  Of course the door to the stall would NOT stay closed, or maybe I was just closing it wrong, since I was just about blind and deaf by that point.  After walking back to the door to the stall 3 times (It was the handicapped stall, so I had to take like 6 steps to get to the door) finally I got the door closed.  The woman came into the bathroom too, and I'm sure she was like, what the hell is this freak with her pants halfway down doing!  I must have looked like I was majorly drugged out or drunk or something.  So, I got to the toilet, and hunched over and put my head in my lap.  It was much cooler in there, and I took some deep breaths.  It took probably about 15 minutes for me to be able to start hearing again.  So, eventually I was ok, and I just went over took a cold paper towel and wiped my neck and face and stuff, and re-did my pony tail.  There was a water bubbler in the hallway, I took a big drink and went back to the room.  I don't know how many times they tried while I was gone, but we ended up having 4 different people try it, with no luck.  So, Tay had a poke on the top of both hands, both arms, the side of her wrist, and the back of one of her ankles. :o(  So, we weren't able to perform the test at all.  I was so upset.  All that trauma and long drive and getting a babysitter for Jameson, all for nothing :o(    So, what else is new with my little princess?  Well we got her up to 20 lbs 2 oz, 31 inches long.  She's been trying to immitate some small things I do like sticking my tounge out a little bit, and clapping is her FAV thing to do.  She also attampts to do that cluck cluck thing that you do with your tongue.  She's so friggin cute.  I love being with her, and I feel so bad when Jameson is being a turd and I have to leave her sitting somewhere so that I can be with him.

Jameson...

Well, he's 8 months old today!  I don't know his weight, I;m guessing around 20 lbs 6 oz or something close.  Last time he was 19 lbs 8 oz and 28 1/2 inches long.  He's about the same size as Taya now!  Not quite as long, but catching up quickly.  He is crawling all over the place and pulling up on everything.  He won't stand alone at all yet, he gets scared if he doesn't have something to hold on to.  He's really warming up to Rick now.  Rick loves playing with him, because he can rough him up a little bit. I also enjoy that part too :o)  All he does is EAT EAT EAT!!!  He loves to eat ANYTHING I give him.  I give him chicken tenders from Burker King, I give him Fries, cookies, everything.  He doesn't really swallow a lot of it, but he enjoys chewing on it and getting little bits of it and swallowing it.  He's been fighting his sleep the past like week or so.  He used to fall asleep so easy, and just about anywhere, now it seems like he needs me to cuddle with him most of the time.  Every morning when Rick leaves for work, he get up really early, 6:00 am, and Jameson is usually awake, Taya is still sleeping, so Rick brings Jame into my bed and plops him down with me.  He is such a lovie dovie omg!  He smooshes his face up against my face when I say give Mama lovies.  It's so nice having him respond to me.  Taya does it in her own way, and I know she loves me, but to have Jameson like hug me back and crawl to me when he wants his momma is just amazing.  He's been trying to say Ma Ma  it comes out more like Mum Mum.  Most of the other sounds he makes right now are S sounds.  Oh and of course major raspberries and bubbles.  Funny little guy.  Still super smiley at everyone.  When we go out shopping he just smiles at every person that walks by him!  He's an attention getter that's for sure!   Rick has big plans for him to become a football player and a pimp hahaha

What else?  That's about it I think!
