Had a teleconference call training me in what to expect for my benefits as a new, permanent employee. Anyone could chime in with a question over their headset and someone kept talking casually. They told the girl to mute her headset but she heard nothing. I eventually recognized the voice and walked over to find my co-worker Rebecca's headset hanging around her neck. I asked her if she was interested in drinking rum and coke and she cocked a flabbergasted head, wondering how I knew of her recent conversation while I was on the other side of the office. We had a good laugh when I filled her in on the predicament.
Dune is pretty good so far. Hey Evan, did this book influence Stephen King when he wrote The Dark Tower books? There seems to be a lot of similarities with language and social structures of Roland's world.
Christmas party is tomorrow at work. I look forward to free alcohol.
I downloaded the Transformers game War for Cybertron because a facebook post of a trailer for the sequel Fall of Cybertron intrigued me. This game represents everything I've been wanting in a transformers series.
