Goody! Either someone in IT slipped up or I've been allowed time to surf the net free of moral restraints.
I just found out that I will go from temp to perm on monday, 12/12/11! About damn time!
I'm glad to be back in Boston. I've definitely hunkered down here and don't plan on moving any time soon. There is so much more going on here and it satisfies my needs for advancement in life.
The are two complaints that I have with Skyward Sword, the controls and the endless questionnaire before every decision you make. The variety of moves at your disposal and how you execute them are entertaining but the wii doesn't register your movements sometimes. I'd say it doesn't pick up on 1 out of every 5 moves you make when in the heat of a battle/puzzle. You also cannot skip dialogue. After a grueling read of asinine text, you then give a response only to be asked for assurance of that choice. And yes, Fi (a.k.a Captain Obvious), I know that getting hurt is bad and that big flashy wart, spewing semen from the gash I made, is the weak spot.
I'm almost finished with the 4th volume of The Absolute Sandman. The 5th and final volume just came out and I need to speak with Zif about getting it soon. I really, really love Neil Gaiman's take on life and death through the dialogue of his characters; it makes me feel better about life.
I look forward to ice skating and skiing this winter.
