I am having a devil of a time finding extant examples of cross-barred silk used in 18th century gowns. I know there aren't many, but there are some! In particular there is one in the collections of Colonial Williamsburg that I can't find on their digital collections site, but I know I've seen at least two other examples. Do y'all have any pictures saved or links to gowns with cross barred silk? And by cross barred silk I mean like this:
