Honestly, though? Just because something cannot be completely eradicated, we shouldn't at least make an effort to curb it? That's absolutely ridiculous. I guess we shouldn't discourage people from murder and rape, neither, since there's no chance of reducing the instances of either to zero. That makes complete sense. Oh, wait; no, it doesn't. These aren't all-or-nothing issues. We should do anything and everything we can to educate people. We should encourage people to do the right thing. Even a simple Facebook post urging people to step up and make an effort to better someone's life has the potential to make a difference, however small it may be.
