You don't need to be fluent, just know the basics.
I can take Chinese lessons, and my friend Jessie can also give me private lessons because she is fluent. Considering I may have my certification by mid-March, that will give me 6 months to learn the basic words and phrases I'll need when going over there.

you're so annoying, you jackass. this will never ever happen in a million years and you're way too stupid to ever learn spanish or chinese in the first place. yeah, let's travel abroad to become an english tutor to children to try and teach them and you won't even know what the hell they're saying. real smart. :)

taylor, traveling is something you have always wanted to do and i am completely behind you in this. i didn't think i would get out of the country, but i learned french and a little spanish and traveled TO WHERE I WANTED TO GO. you can TRULEY MAKE THIS HAPPEN, it's so easy, and if you have the opportunity to - do it. i know you can accomplish this, don't let ANYONE try to convince you otherwise, YOU WILL do this. YOU WILL travel! such an amazing experience, lady. keep me updated++

The whole point of doing these teaching programs is for you NOT to know their language. That was it forces them to learn english to communicate. The people that run these programs actually perfer it if you can't speak the language.
