It was amazing! Okay, so around 3:30 in the morning the sprinkler system went off at the park and the majority of the people who were there left. However, for those people who stuck it out the entire night it was SOO worth it. You know the Invisible Children aren't able to just pack up their things in the middle of the night and go back to a dorm and a soft, warm bed.
It was kinda cool. the sprinklers died down for about 10-15 minutes after the majority of the people had left and so Debi, Miles, Minnie, Richard and I relocated our things to an area where it seemed there weren't any sprinklers. About two minutes after we set up the sprinklers went off in that area. The thing is...they were all around us, but we didn't get wet. The sprinklers didn't reach the location we had set up in.
I'm glad for last night. I pray our message gets through and we are able to get help not only for the invisible children in Uganda, but for all the invisible children around the world.
