We Are Angels

So, I was sick this weekend...still not up to PAR, but not as bad as I was. God is great.

The End.....

Actually, I have something to say. I just need to find the right words to say it. A lot of times people tend to hide behind certain personality traits. Whenever something serious comes up they turn around and run. What they are running from is something only they know. They let off this air of 'nothing can get to me...let me prove this by laughing in the face of life.' Yet, life has gotten to them. They just can't seem to open that crevase inside that leads to their truth.

This is something that could either tear you apart from or spur you on towards God. If you choose God as a way to push this behind you I think you may find he has other plans. You can't choose to run from your past, you have to open up and face the events that helped mold who you are. God doesn't help you run from your past. If we run maybe we will grow a little stronger, but eventually we will slow down and what we were running from will catch up and overcome us. God helps us to face our pasts head on. We are not the cleanest, purest or even simplest creatures. We are complex, stained and broken. God knows this more than we even know. We will grow to be stronger than our past if we simply turn around and face it instead of constatly running from it.

Now the trick to facing your past is...you can't do it alone. That is where God comes in. God created Adam, then God created Eve for companionship. Now I'm not getting into some marriage lecture, but God created people for people. He knew that there were trials we were going to face, and that there was going to be a past so he created people, to help other people. God sends us angels in our time of need. Sometimes we serve as those angels, other times our friends act as those angels for us. I think it's time we stopped running from our past and learn to turn around and face it, with God and his angels by our side.

That is all I have to say.

1 Chronicals 23 -- 25 For David said, "The LORD, the God of Israel, has given

peace to his people; and he dwells in Jerusalem for ever.

26 And so the Levites no longer need to carry the tabernacle or any of the

things for its service" --

27 for by the last words of David these were the number of the Levites from

twenty years old and upward--

28 "but their duty shall be to assist the sons of Aaron for the service of the

house of the LORD, having the care of the courts and the chambers, the

cleansing of all that is holy, and any work for the service of the house of God;

29 to assist also with the showbread, the flour for the cereal offering, the

wafers of unleavened bread, the baked offering, the offering mixed with oil, and

all measures of quantity or size.

30 And they shall stand every morning, thanking and praising the LORD, and

likewise at evening,

31 and whenever burnt offerings are offered to the LORD on sabbaths,

new moons, and feast days, according to the number required of them,

continually before the LORD.

32 Thus they shall keep charge of the tent of meeting and the sanctuary, and

shall attend the sons of Aaron, their brethren, for the service of the house

of the LORD."

---In the new testiment aren't our bodies considered the House of the LORD? (I am honestly asking, because that is what I think. Since God no longer dwells in the Holy of Holies...he dwells in each and every one of us.....right?)
