I thought I got all the extra things out with the last edit (it took three or four to get it right), so could you do a quick skim now to see if it's still there?

I definitely don't have the patience of a saint--I just know when I've got a good thing and you've spoiled me for other betas.

Who's the OT3 in the icon, btw?

It's getting posted there shortly, and I just posted another Dean/Carter/Jaimie a few minutes ago. That one's pure UST (no actual sex, sorry) and pretty angsty. It's got enough of a Dean/Carter component that I'll probably crosspost it to carter_dean too.

And I really appreciate that you love how I write them, so thanks.

This season just made me think "Dean and Jaimie are plotting how to pounce Carter as soon as Alex slips up" a lot. (And sometimes that they were plotting to pounce Ty for some comfort sex--I've got a Dean/Ty/Jaimie that's almost ready to go as well).

To round out the rare pairings, there's a bit of OT5 kink that's headed into the beta process soon.

I have the magic power of making cracky plots seem plausible, remember :)?

Also, this went through (I think) 9 revisions, so dime and her magical beta powers of awesomeness had a lot to do with it. At one point, the rough draft closely resembled a bag of slightly odd-colored Skittles because it had so many different colors of additions, changes, and comments.

I ended up having to strip out the comments and turn all the stuff that didn't need to be worked on into unbolded black for the last few go-rounds.

I so want to write the deansquared wingfic now. Just to see if I can make the crackiest cliche in the book magically plausible as well. (Of course, the DeanB/DeanW wingporn has a lot to do with why I want to write that, too :).)

OHMYGODIT'SUP!!!! :D I have to admit to wondering where you'd gotten to, and then BAM!!! :D I am so psyched to see this!! I love the details about Teresa, and how Carter and Jaimie court Dean, and just.... everything. :D **happy sigh**

I was working and taking a couple of community college classes, so for a while the data entry killed my creativity. And about the same time the creativity kicked in, dime's RL kicked in with a vengeance which meant I didn't have a beta, and I'm not comfortable posting finished fic without having had it pass the dime test first. (Chameleon-verse is a slightly different thing, since a) WIP and b) clearly marked that it's not betaed.)

How did your semester go, or shouldn't I ask?

The courtship is largely thanks to you and dime pointing out that there needed to be some. Also I could not resist the thought of Carter and Jaimie getting Dean high on Kitty Hooch (which is real--it's high-test catnip. They got their boyfriend the good stuff). Of course, my "Carter cooks for his significant others" kink showed up again (and my love of key lime pie). And I got to indulge my "Carter's got a kink for the slow burn and he's corrupted Jaimie into it too" weakness ( ... )
