Cramps, Awards, University... Oh My.
What worries me the most right now is that I don't have ANY IDEA where I will be in 5 years.. or in 10 years. I still dont know what field I want to go into in University. I still dont know what I want to do with my life. Is this a bad thing? Should I be worrying? People say "ya whatever, you're in grade 11" but the thing is.. grade 11 ends next monday. Then I have a nice two months to dwell on this life-altering question that is burning inside. I guess I could go into nursing... or maybe even physical therapy.. but how do I know I'm cut out for it? How do I know what my "calling" is? I guess what I'm really worried about right now is not even getting into a University that offers some sort of program I am interested in. My marks aren't too bad. I've participated and volunteered for practically everything. How am I going to 'make the grade' for a specific university?

So today I stayed home 'sick'. My mom and I were fighting all last week, and now she is unnaturally nice to me. It makes me think theres some alterior motive. I had cramps this morning and she actually let me stay home. A week before exams. Then, she comes down to my room and tells me she wants to take me clothes shopping. SHE NEVER TAKES ME CLOTHES SHOPPING. She has a phobia of spending money on clothing because every time I wear something I ruin it.
- I got a phone call from my school telling me that I need to be present at the Athletic Awards tomorrow =]=]. That means I must've won sooomething. Theres the Father Cundari award (for leadership and w.e) and then MVP for every sport. The big awards are Female Athlete of the Year and Academic Female Athlete of the Year. Those are reserved for grade 12s tho. Soo I've been sitting here contemplating what award III could've possibly gotten. No chance it's for volleyball - theres two AMAZING middles on my team that would get an award over me (a tiny libero). I think soccer is out of the question - theres 22 girls on the team and we all play rep. So that'll be a gamble as to who gets those awards. Theres an extra award for Basketball for top defender.. I think I've got 50/50 chance on that one. I don't really have skill haha I'm a hustler. Then there's hockey - the sport that I eat, sleep and breathe. If I had to bet on which award I was to be recognized with, I'd put all my money on a hockey award. I guess I'll have to wait til tomorrow to find out =]
I might write again tonight. If I'm bored and sick of exam reviews. =]
